Our Optional Programs afford flexible scheduling tailored to your child’s needs and interests.

Lunch Bunch

Lunch Bunch provides children in both the Younger and Older Classes extra time for outdoor play on our playground, followed by enjoying the mid-day meal with friends and teachers. Children learn about the social aspects of dining with their peers as teachers model good eating habits, table manners and encourage interesting dialogue. Lunch is a busy, happy time filled with lots of wonderful conversation. You may enroll your child for any combination of days. Lunch Bunch runs from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Beginning in January Toddlers stay for lunch until 12:45 PM.

Stay & Play

The Stay & Play Program includes lunch and provides children in both the Younger and Older Classes with an extended  school day  filled with age-appropriate opportunities for play and learning and lots of hands-on teacher interaction. Under the supervision of their experienced teachers, the children enjoy our child-centered facilities in a relaxed smaller group. Whether it is reading an exciting story, building with blocks, painting or creating an inventive project, your child will enjoy extra time to play with friends and teachers while mastering the skills they learn at school.

The Stay & Play calendar includes specific themed programs that run throughout the year which include: Monday- Expressive Arts; Tuesday- Science and Nature; and Thursday- “It’s a Small World” exploring a variety of cultures. Stay & Play runs from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. You may enroll your child for any combination of days.

Early Birds

Early Birds is available for children whose schedules require them to be at school before our 8:30 AM opening. Children can arrive any time after 8:00 AM to play in our Big Room under the supervision of our teachers. Early Birds is available for children from the Toddler, Younger and Older Classes every day, all year. You may enroll  in the combination that best suits your child’s needs and/or interests.
