NSNS is the school it is today because of the generous support of our current and alumni families and friends. Since our founding in 1962 as a not for profit program, our families have volunteered their time and expertise to benefit both current and future NSNS children. Through donations to our Annual Fund, Auction and Endowment, friends and families ensure we can continue to provide the faculty, facilities and programming that sets our school apart. We hope you’ll join us, and those who came before us, as we celebrate the wonder of childhood and provide young children the kind of education they deserve!
Please contact Suzanne Hodson at 978-922-8450 if you have any questions or would like to learn more about advancing the NSNS mission.

High quality schools strive to keep tuition affordable while maintaining excellent programming. North Shore Nursery School is no exception. Since the annual tuition covers only 85% of the expense of each child's education, we rely on the generous support of our community through our Annual Fund and Auction to bridge the gap. The charitable income generated from these sources helps us balance the budget without sacrificing program excellence, facility maintenance, or faculty compensation. On behalf of the children at NSNS, we appreciate and thank you for your generous support! |

The Annual Fund is launched each Fall and continues until the end of the fiscal year on June 30. Each year we gratefully receive gifts from alumni, grandparents and friends, and strive for 100% participation from current families. We are thrilled to have 100% participation from the NSNS faculty for the last two years! While there is a targeted goal for our annual appeal, every gift, regardless of size, is appreciated and helps us create a unified, supportive community. To make a donation to the 2010-2012 Annual Fund, please click on the "Donate" button. North Shore Nursery School is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt for your gift. Gifts received by June 30, 2012 will be credited towards this year’s Annual Fund.
Each Spring the NSNS community comes together in the Big Room for the much anticipated social event of the year, the Auction. Dedicated volunteers select a theme based on a children’s book and transform our school for a magical evening of home-grown, sophisticated fun. Planning for this event starts early in the school year and offers many volunteer opportunities for parents; from donating silent and live items*, decorating, cleaning-up, and, most of all, joining us for a festive evening celebrating the spirit of generosity and good will that is so much a part of the culture of our school. This year's Auction will be on Saturday, March 3, 2012. Please contact Elizabeth Skates, Auction Chair, to learn how you can be involved.
*All auction donations as well as portions of purchases beyond the value of the goods received are tax deductible.
