Friday Explorers
The multi-age Friday Explorers Class engages children through an inquiry-based curriculum that promotes questioning, investigation, and discovery!
When: Fridays 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM (with the option of staying for Lunch Bunch until 1:00 PM)
Friday Explorers is a unique optional class composed of both Younger and Older Class children. This program offers an active outdoor-based curriculum that affords children enrolled an extra day at school. The Explorers meet from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays with the option of staying for Lunch Bunch until 1:00 PM. Each week the teachers present provocations to spark the children’s interests and curiosity. They prepare the classroom to support the children’s inquiry by providing related materials and tools that encourage the children to think, imagine and investigate in a multi-age outdoor classroom setting.
